Yes you have heard the right, Khali is the new champion(7-foot-3, 420-pound).He was the last man standing in the ring after fighting with 20-Man Battle Royal.This match was ordered by General Manager Theodore Long, who earlier had ordered Edge to surrender the World Heavyweight Title.

After being the World Heavy Weight Champion in the WWE history,he needs a challenger.Smackdown General Manager Theodore Long No. 1 Contender’s Match tat Batista who is ready to face Khali at Bash or the Red Monster Kane who was suppose to face Edge at Bash.

The final Smackdown befor The Great American Bash.But the Smackdown was extremly wild.Fans to had a shock.

But the Smackdown went upside down as Edge was striped form his title and The Great Khali was declared as the World Heavy Weight Champion.

An hour after SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long Stiped Edge from his title,The Great Khali was crowned the Champion.

“I still can’t believe what I just saw,” said Laredo native Matthew Perez, who attended his first-ever WWE live event on Tuesday night. “The Great Khali is the new World Heavyweight Champion? Man, how is anyone going to stop that guy? I can honestly say that I’ll never forget my first WWE show.”

“Is The Great Khali seriously the World Heavyweight Champion?” added friend Gordon Connell. “Like, please, someone tell me I’m going to wake up, that it’s all just a dream, and that Edge is still World Champion.”

Mr. Gordon Connell, he was just another one of the thousands of WWE fans in Laredo who couldn’t believe what transpired.



“Seeing Khali holding that title in the air…man, that’s just scary!” exclaimed Miranda Sanchez. “He’s a monster, and my 3-year-old son is afraid of him. Now that he’s got the championship, he’ll be even more dangerous.” Her point was further punctuated simply by looking down, where young Andrew Sanchez clung to his mother’s leg.

It was a good day for the new World Heavy Weight Champion-The Great Khali.

As we know that it was Kane who was going to face Edge at The Great American Bash on july 22,But the Red Monster Kane Physically destroyed Edge.The Rated-R Superstar tore his left pectoral muscle injured.So the doctors ordered surgery within 4 months.So he can't defende his title at the Bash.

SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long informed Edge about the WWE rule book,a World Champion must defend the title within a 30-day period in order to keep the gold.The Champion Edge's gold was taken from him in the center of the ring.

“I’m still the rightful champion,”say's Rated-R Superstar Edge. “My pectoral muscle is hanging on by a single fiber; literally hanging from the bone. Theodore Long comes out and strips me of what I’ve worked for my entire career – from childhood until now. My mood is obviously not great right now. I’m disgusted.”

“It clearly states in the WWE rulebook that the holder of the World Heavyweight Championship must defend the title within that period of time,” Grneral Manager Long contended. “Edge can’t do that, so I had no choice but to strip him of his title. Nothing’s personal. I’m just doing my job.”

“I go out there and put my body through hell,” exclaimed the Ultimate Opportunist. “I’ve broken my neck, dislocated my shoulder twice, torn my other peck, my elbows are mush, I have two protruding discs in my lower back. I even got bit by a brown recluse spider that turned into a flesh-eating disease – the list goes on. I still go out there and prove that I am the best.”

“Why do I still do this? Not for them. I do it for my pride,” added the emotional Superstar. “I don’t give a rat’s a** what the fans think. I never have. That’s not how I operate.”

“I know that fans will be happy with this, and that pisses me off,” Edge stated. “I’ve come to the realization that our fans never will appreciate me. But they had to live with me as their champion, and when I return and become a four-time World Champion, they’ll have to deal with me again.”

“If this were a Triple Threat Match, Johnny Nitro would be the winner, obviously,” say's the current ECW World Champion. “But since that’s not the case, I think I’ll give the edge to Lashley. It’s always easier to retain a championship than win it fresh, but I think Lashley is a real up-and-comer. He has a real solid wrestling background, having been an Armed Forces Champion, and he’s got a lot of momentum [going into the match]. I don’t think anyone in this company can beat him…except me.”

Bobby lashley has declared that he will face WWE Champion John Cena at The Great American Bash on july 22.

But Bobby lashley got a second chance to kick off King Booker.The both super star had a huge fight and Bobby lashley won, but a small aunnouncement was made by Jonathan Cochman.

”Lashley deserves a fighting chance, so he’s going to get it. Tonight, it will be Mr. Kennedy & King Booker vs. Bobby Lashley and a partner of his choice. And Lashley, after the way you speared John Cena, if you can’t find a partner, it will be a Handicap Match.”

Just then Jeff Hardy entered in the ring.Bobby Lashley won the match . But Jeff Hardy and King Booker were fighting outside the ring,mean while Bobby Lashley spear Kenndy and pinned him and won the match.

“I’ll call that spear last week competitive intensity…but I’ll also address Bobby Lashley next week,” Cena announced. “Lashley never lost the ECW Title; therefore, he feels he should still be a champion. There are two dogs and only one championship, and at The Bash we’ll find out who the real champion is.”
